DIY // Dog Friendly Gopher, Vole and Mouse Traps

We have a big problem with mice, voles and gophers but it's hard to put poison out when you have two  curious pups running around. A neighbor shared their secret with us and it's working like a charm.

Supplies for Lawn T's:
- (1) 3" x 10' PVC Pipe (3" for larger critters like gophers)
- (2) 3" PVC 'T'
- Bait (we used Eraze Gopher Pellets used for gophers, voles and mice)

Directions for 2 Lawn T's:
- Cut your pipe in (6) 1.5' pieces
- Attach a piece of pipe on each side of the PVC 'T'
- Pour bait in the middle opening of the PVC 'T'
- Attach 3rd piece of pipe to the opening of the PVC 'T'
- Lay out on the problem area of grass with the top of the 'T' facing the usual wind direction to avoid pellets getting blown out
- Repeat to make another with the rest of the materials

And these PVC Wall T's have been magic against mice:

Supplies for Wall T's:

- (1) 2" x 10' PVC Pipe
- (2) 2" PVC 'T'
- (2) 2" PVC Caps
- (2) Silver Bracket
- (2) Screws
- Scrap Wood
- Bait (we used d-Con Pellets)

Directions for 2 Wall T's:

- Cut your pipe in (6) 1.5' pieces
- Attach a piece of pipe on each side of the PVC 'T'
- Pour d-Con pellets in the middle opening of the PVC 'T'
- Attach 3rd piece of pipe to the opening of the PVC 'T'
- Attach cap to the opening facing up to avoid rain getting inside
- Place the upside down 'T' against the wall and on top of a piece of scrap wood to avoid water flowing through
- Screw bracket around the length of the 'T' and into the wall to hold in place
- Remove top cap and add more bait when it runs out
- Repeat to make another with the rest of the materials
