Meant For Me (and perhaps you too!)

On this Monday morning I found myself spending 30 minutes watching this talk from the TYPO Conference in San Francisco given by Tina Roth Eisenberg, the creator of one of my go-to blogs, Swissmiss. This led to a very inspiring day and made me feel like I was watching for a reason.  Well, 8 reasons actually:

8 Lessons on Taking Your Side Projects Seriously:
1. Find what you love
Don't stop until you find it - you'll know when you do

2. Don't be a complainer
Make things better

3. Trust your intuition
Your gut is always right

4. If an opportunity scares you, take it
Being scared means you'll learn and grow

5. Find and connect with likeminded people
Make sure they are a respectful and good bunch

6. Collaborate
Only good will come of it

7. Ignore haters
They deserve none of your time

8. Inspire others
Be someone's crazy aunt

Among many things, this makes me want to start collaborating with so many creative locals. There are a lot up in these woods.

Thank you, Tina. Starting new projects and trusting your instincts really is scary but your insight, experience and willing to share with the community makes it seem a little easier and is much appreciated.
